A cosy rural stay

The grounds of the property are gorgeous, there’s a lovely play area, farm animals and games room which is so lovely. The holiday home was comfortable, warm and cosy.

The twist lock was so easy for our children to just let themselves out of the property which wasn’t ideal and was a little stressful. I requested a cot but wasn’t left a cot so we had to make do with a bed. We also had to pay an extra £42 for our two dogs to stay for 3 nights which we were only billed for after I made the booking. The shower had no pressure at all and no bath mats left so meant we had to towel the floor each evening.

Great comfortable cosy stay with everything you need.

Lovely little self-contained two bedroom lodge / stone chalet. Warm and cosy with lovely smelling towels and bedding. Comfortable and clean. Separate play room building with table football and table tennis. Close to Combe Martin, nice little seaside village with walks to the Great Hangman, or a bit further to Valley of the Rocks (we did both on one weekend).

The description of the property is spot on and as described. Very nice cottage feel and perfect for a countryside stay. It took us around 15 mins to drive into Ilfracombe. Host was quick at responding to messages.

Facilities were top notch. Very comfortable cottage. Really convenient for all we wanted to do. Best dog friendly facilities we have experienced with a spacious field and dedicated disposal bin. Very helpful hosts.

What a brilliant time we all had. Location perfect for exploring Woolacombe, Ilfracombe, & more

Perfect Location, Zak and his wife were amazing hosts, they were so welcoming. The cottage was beautifully clean. It had everything we needed in the fully equipped kitchen, the beds were really comfortable, and the bathroom spotless. Our grandchildren loved the animals that are kept here, sheep, pigs, ducks, chickens piglets and resident dogs. Two goats are due to join soon and I have been informed, by said grandchildren we have to return next year to see them. 😊 The children loved having the freedom to go and see the animals, and to play in the playrooms with the friends they made. I would highly recommend

Very nice cottage adjacent to a farm

Very nice and friendly hosts. The place itself is spacious and well-furnished and in a quiet place. Also there is a separate building which has an assortiment of games, like a pingpong table, but also outdoor stuff like tennis gear.

The location is a bit hard to find using navigation, but a friendly neighbour gave us the last directions that we needed. The last part of the road contained some potholes, but driving fast is not an option anyway, the road width is fit for exactly one car.

A really lovely place to stay

Every thing about this place is great. The hosts are really friendly and easy going the accommodation is very clean and comfortable and there’s loads for the kids to do. Our son especially likes the dart board and pool table and their lovely dogs. It’s very dog friendly if you have dogs to bring with you and only a 5 min drive into Combe Martin

Quiet, rural child friend.

Set in a very rural farm this property was lovely and quiet although it had facilities for children to play. Large football, grass play area and tennis courts set away from the cottages. And a games room was easy to get too. Very clean, very cosy and comfortable, lovely friendly hosts that where more than happy to help. Good location, everything within a short drive. We will certainly return if the price stays affordable. Thankyou for a lovely holiday.
