Absolutely loved the stay at Hele Bay Cottage. We staying the Sandy Cove and it was brilliant. Facilities were spotless, all rooms were fully equipped too. Play area for the kids was brilliant plus the added play room with darts, pool, etc. The animal area with goats, sheep, ducks and etc. was brilliant bonus. Would highly recommend staying here and we will be back!

I stayed at Hele Bay for three nights with my two young children and elderly mother. Despite the Great British weather outside the cottage was cosy, warm and welcoming. It is located a little off the beaten track but was perfectly easy to find with Google Maps. We did briefly meet the owners who were genuine, friendly people (and their lovely dog!).
My two children absolutely loved walking around looking at the animals, it made for a really lovely get away when tied in with our other activities.
There was a slight issue with the shower which occurred on the morning we were departing, where it ran cold. I flagged this to the owner who said he'd look at it but obviously no follow up as we left shortly after!
The games rooms are a little tired.

We had a lovely stay, the cottage was equipped with everything we needed and in a great location for our long weekend in Devon. We really enjoyed it and so did our dog Pepper, with a field to have a run around in the evenings. This place would be really good in summer too when you could make use of the communal BBQ and wood burner, unfortunately it was a bit too chilly for a BBQ when we stayed but there was plenty of space to relax in the evening and we enjoyed the fire to help keep warm.
