Seagull and Chips is a beautiful two-storey apartment set in the heart of Weymouth, Dorset. Situated just seconds from the town’s famous Esplanade and award-winning beach, it’s ideal for families or friends seeking a seaside break. As well as the beach, Weymouth’s shops, lively pubs, restaurants, marina and picturesque harbour are all within a short walking distance. The heart of the apartment is the living and dining room, a welcoming space that sets a relaxed tone for your stay. The grand Victorian bay window fills the room with light and a built-in window seat offers a spot to sit with a coffee and watch the world outside (while slimline double glazing helps provide extra peace and tranquility). A corner sofa provides an inviting place for evenings spent chatting or watching TV, while the dining table is ready for shared meals, board games or planning your next day’s adventure. The well-appointed kitchen is directly off the lounge-diner, and is set up to make self-catering simple and sociable, whether you are starting the day a fresh coffee from the Nespresso machine, or preparing a delicious evening meal. The bedrooms are comfortable retreats, with the spacious master double on the top floor providing a king-sized bed, ample clothes hanging and drawer space and a foldable luggage rack. The second bedroom (on the lower floor) is a twin room. Clothes-hanging space is also provided in this bedroom. The bathroom includes both a bath and a shower, as well as plenty of storage space. Temporary parking for up to one hour is available directly outside the property – space permitting – giving you plenty of time to unload if arriving by car. The beach is close enough for early-morning dips, peaceful strolls or evenings watching the light fade, while the Esplanade features cafés, shops and amusements to keep kids (and adults!) entertained. Weymouth’s bustling harbour offers pubs, restaurants, cafés and plenty of other fantastic attractions. Please note that the apartment is located on the second and third floors of a Victorian property that has been converted into flats. The stairs to the master bedroom on the third floor are original to the building and narrow, with a steep incline and low headroom. There is no lift available.
