Eco stay

This accommodation really came in handy. The manager is flexible and let us add extra nights at short notice. The place is clean and comfortable, and all the essentials are provided!

However, it is important to bear in mind that you are staying in someone’s home, so the spaces are not private. To get to the guests’ kitchen, you have to go through their open-plan living and kitchen area. The only private space is the bedroom, which does not lock. On arrival, we were greeted by a woman (a cleaner?) who didn’t speak a word of English. She greeted us in Mandarin and we did our best to understand her instructions. The place is a 15-minute walk from a shopping centre and a 10-minute walk from the nearest bus stop for access to the main roads. We stayed during the week, so in the mornings we were woken up by the children leaving for school. The rest of the time, the house seems empty because they’re so quiet.
