Former hunting lodge, converted to a small hotel with restaurant. The conversion provides good spaces for its new role while retaining the original character. The furnishings, artwork and 'pickup and read / look / play with' resources were all excellent and fitted the hotel's style. The attention and service from the owners was excellent and the food was superb.

Warm welcome. Lovely couple providing impeccable hospitality through our stay...a perfect weekend away with the wife and some much needed R and R away from our busy lives back home. They were more than happy to tell us about the area, including places to eat and walks etc. Food was amazing...all cooked to order, and locally sourced. The attention to detail was brilliant...eg. Providing cold fresh milk in thermo canisters for our room. Home made shortbread to accompany fresh locally sourced ground coffee with cafetière and local tea for your room. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. 10/10
