The lovely harbour town of Arbroath is only a couple of miles away, take a walk there along the nature trail or by car and a stroll to the harbour with its fishing boats and sample the excellent food & drink in the town’s many cafes and restaurants.
There are the famous sandy beaches of Lunan Bay and St Cyrus only a few miles away as is Carnoustie’s Championship golf course and St Andrews if you wish a game. The nearby city of Dundee, and Aberdeen and Edinburgh can all be accessed by train from Arbroath or a day out by car.
