Nice self catering, expected a little more for the price :)

Nice, clean, minimalist self catering apartment in a great location. Kitchen had most items you would need for a short stay. Excellent communication from Jess, the host, was appreciated for a couple of queries before and during our stay. Also good to have milk and some tea/coffee, salt, pepper and oil available.

Expected a bit more considering the price. It would be nice to have 2 pillows each as standard and enough coffee pods and extra toilet paper to cover stay (Jess kindly allowed us to take a couple from the storage cupboard when I asked). Bathroom is nice but sink is small with no shelf or anywhere to put toiletries which could be annoying if staying much more than a couple of nights. If I stayed again I would contact Jess directly to avoid booking.com fees which might make it feel more reasonable!

First time in Arbroath. Impressed with the local amenities

Shower was fabulous. Great location.

No TV in bedroom. Bed was uncomfortable. Fridge door not hung correctly. Toilet seat hitting the cistern controls when upwards. Bathroom sink plug did not work. Outside pods were a waste of space and the wooden fencing was not protected leading to swelling.

A lovely place for a short holiday.

The apartment was beautifully appointed and it was nice having a garden area. It was well located for exploring the area, which had some beautiful beaches and places to visit.

There were a few items I would have expected to be supplied which were not available:- No milk (as promised), no scissors or salt and pepper in the kitchen; no toilet rolls, or toilet roll holder in bathroom; no bedside tables. The bedroom was very hot, as there were no windows to open, or air conditioning. We also had some very noisy neighbours who stayed out late (until about midnight) in the garden area for a couple of nights. Perhaps hirers should be asked not to stay out in the garden beyond a reasonable time.

Lovely hosts , spotless accommodation, excellent bed and very comfortable.

Individual outside private space , easy parking, comfortable living space. Little touches - local shortbread, coffee, tea and milk. There was an issue with the water supply which was not the fault of the owner but a plumber was quickly and efficiently arranged and the problem solved.

The bedroom is ground floor with French doors only to the outside space so it is not possible to have a window open in the bedroom for comfort in hot weather . This isn’t the fault of the owners, just a building design issue.

Very nice little appartment. It was modern and stylist. Loved the outside seating space and how close it was to the train station. It really had everything you needed for a short stay.

However, the bed could have done with 2 pillows per person and the bathroom could do with a toilet roll holder.

Stylish, spotless and comfortable

Gorgeous property, very clean. Great parking and nice to have an outside space. Everything very comfortable and all of the little things had clearly been thought about. Our kids very much appreciated the Easter eggs!

We loved everything! The only thing I might suggest would be to at least double the amount of teacups/mugs available if four people are staying :)

Sehr angenehm für ein paar Tage, in denen man die schottische Ostküste erkunden möchte.

Die Beschreibung zur Anfahrt und Einlass wurde einen Tag vor Ankunft zur Verfügung gestellt. Diese war gut zur Orientierung und hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Es war ein Selbstversorgeraufenthalt. Die Gelegenheiten zum Kauf der Lebensmittel waren gerade mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft liegt in der Nähes des Bahnhofes und an gut befahrenen Straße in der Stadt. Da das Schlafzimmer aber nach hinten raus zu einer Seitenstraße (Sackgasse) und einem Parkplatz hin gelegen war, konnte man gut schlafen. Sehr aufmerksam war, dass im Kühlschrank schon eine Milch stand und man sich ohne Stress gleich einen ersten Tee machen konnte. Die Zimmer waren sauber eingerichtet. Wenn man Essen gehen möchte, dann ist „The Old Brewhouse“ in jedem Fall mit seinem geräucherten Fisch zu empfehlen.

Die Sitzgelegenheiten am Esstisch waren etwas zu hoch. Für meine Schlafgewohnheit/-verhältnisse auch gewöhnungsbedürftig, dass nicht jeder „seine“ Bettdecke hat, sondern man sich eine große Decke teilen „darf“. Im Bad, was sehr modern wirkte, fehlten leider deutlich Ablageflächen. Wie gehen aber davon aus, dass hier nich nachgearbeitet wird. Wir hatten uns die Unterkunft auch wegen der Sitzmöglichkeit im Freien ausgesucht. Dies sollte man schnell vergessen, denn auf einem gepflasterten Platz sind für sie 4 Ferienwohnungen jeweils ein liebloser Bretterverschlag zur Verfügung gestellt. Zum Glück waren wir viel unterwegs. Wofür die Unterkunft nichts kann: Der Ort selbst ist keine besondere Schönheit. Sehr viel geschäftlicher Leerstand.
