Die Beschreibung zur Anfahrt und Einlass wurde einen Tag vor Ankunft zur Verfügung gestellt. Diese war gut zur Orientierung und hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Es war ein Selbstversorgeraufenthalt. Die Gelegenheiten zum Kauf der Lebensmittel waren gerade mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft liegt in der Nähes des Bahnhofes und an gut befahrenen Straße in der Stadt. Da das Schlafzimmer aber nach hinten raus zu einer Seitenstraße (Sackgasse) und einem Parkplatz hin gelegen war, konnte man gut schlafen. Sehr aufmerksam war, dass im Kühlschrank schon eine Milch stand und man sich ohne Stress gleich einen ersten Tee machen konnte. Die Zimmer waren sauber eingerichtet.
Wenn man Essen gehen möchte, dann ist „The Old Brewhouse“ in jedem Fall mit seinem geräucherten Fisch zu empfehlen.
Die Sitzgelegenheiten am Esstisch waren etwas zu hoch. Für meine Schlafgewohnheit/-verhältnisse auch gewöhnungsbedürftig, dass nicht jeder „seine“ Bettdecke hat, sondern man sich eine große Decke teilen „darf“. Im Bad, was sehr modern wirkte, fehlten leider deutlich Ablageflächen. Wie gehen aber davon aus, dass hier nich nachgearbeitet wird.
Wir hatten uns die Unterkunft auch wegen der Sitzmöglichkeit im Freien ausgesucht. Dies sollte man schnell vergessen, denn auf einem gepflasterten Platz sind für sie 4 Ferienwohnungen jeweils ein liebloser Bretterverschlag zur Verfügung gestellt. Zum Glück waren wir viel unterwegs.
Wofür die Unterkunft nichts kann: Der Ort selbst ist keine besondere Schönheit. Sehr viel geschäftlicher Leerstand.

Nice, clean, minimalist self catering apartment in a great location. Kitchen had most items you would need for a short stay. Excellent communication from Jess, the host, was appreciated for a couple of queries before and during our stay. Also good to have milk and some tea/coffee, salt, pepper and oil available.
Expected a bit more considering the price. It would be nice to have 2 pillows each as standard and enough coffee pods and extra toilet paper to cover stay (Jess kindly allowed us to take a couple from the storage cupboard when I asked).
Bathroom is nice but sink is small with no shelf or anywhere to put toiletries which could be annoying if staying much more than a couple of nights. If I stayed again I would contact Jess directly to avoid booking.com fees which might make it feel more reasonable!

Shower was fabulous.
Great location.
No TV in bedroom.
Bed was uncomfortable.
Fridge door not hung correctly.
Toilet seat hitting the cistern controls when upwards.
Bathroom sink plug did not work.
Outside pods were a waste of space and the wooden fencing was not protected leading to swelling.
