The location Access directly onto the beach

The heating wasn’t working properly so very cold at night had to sit with duvets on The shower had very poor pressure struggled to wash shampoo out of hair. No plug for kitchen sink No curtains/blinds on living room window/ bathroom window/ kitchen window and door to outside at back which was mainly glass. Privacy and warmth definitely an issue. Bedroom had a venetian blind which firstly doesn’t come to edge and also when closed and you lay in bed you can clearly see the house window opposite and see what they are doing so I can only presume they can see you in bed when the light is on. With the street lights it is like daylight at night in the bedroom if you are from the country and used to darkness this doesn’t create a good nights sleep. The staircase is extremely steep and narrow although we didn’t need to use upstairs. Outside in the garden looked abit rundown. The photos are well staged and dressed but mostly not true. The mattress in downstairs bedroom is very old and needing replaced. The oven had a big pool of grease in the bottom. There is also a very strong damp smell when you walk in the door. No welcome pack either which is a nice gesture The bedside light fittings fell down through the night and also you can’t reach to turn them off from bed We were given a refund after 2 days as too many problems.

Loved sitting in the garden watching the sea and the property was clean and fresh with everything we needed and walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets

We couldn’t park in the same street as the property and had to search for parking spaces in nearby streets and the stairs were steep to the upstairs bedrooms

Lovely location felt very homely

Needed a few tweaks here and there and stairs too steep

Access to the beach and view was excellent , as were the nearby pubs ( all within walking distance)

Parking was a nightmare! ( Especially when disabled) Although we didn't use the upstairs rooms, the staircase was very narrow and steep. The rear of the property would definitely benefit from blinds or some kind of window covering.

Love the garden and that its dog friendly. Inside is so clean you wouldnt know a dog had been in it. The gate directly onto the beach is fantastic. The garden furniture is good quality and great for relaxing watching the waves. The fire pit is a great addition especially as it gets slightly chilly at night in September.

The glass back door needs a roller blind for both privacy and security reasons. The stairs for upstairs are too steep and narrow. Very scary coming downstairs.

The location, easy access to places, as mentioned in earlier reviews stairs are steep but wasn't a problem. Back garden. Sunny weather helped😄

No feedback whatsoever from Booking.com. I had to contact the owners directly for any information I requested.

I have just left this property family of 4 and our 2 dogs And we have been to many places but this is by far our favourite yet. Accommodation is spotless had everything you could possibly need beds we're super comfy Netflix-YouTube on livingroom TV. WiFi was fantastic....The garden.... JUST WOW what a view sea right on your backdoor and back gate of garden steps leading u on to the beach dogs loved it kids loved it myself and parter had best time. Everything central shops pubs restaurants icecream shops. Everyone was lovely no one passed by without saying hello asking how we are doing very friendly everywhere you went there was drinking bowls for the dogs we also visited the cliffs which was 10 min walk and that was just stunning. Thank you so much for our stay wish we booked longer but we will be sure to next time...and very soon x
