Schöner kleiner „ Bungalow“ mit guter Ausstattung. Oxford war gut mit dem Bus erreichbar, der regelmäßig und gleich um die Ecke fuhr.

War nicht so leicht zu finden, da das Haus in der zweiten Reihe steht und kein Schild auf die Unterkunft weißt.

Nice cosy place, good size kitchen and seating area. Bedroom was also a good size and smelt nice.

Pillows unfortunately were of low quality.

The check-in process was very easy and convenient — the key was prepared for us in a secure location, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The apartment is nicely furnished, with some updated elements that create a relatively comfortable atmosphere. One of the positives was the host’s responsiveness and kindness. When they realized we were a family of four and needed extra bedding for the children sleeping on the sofa, they arranged for additional bed sheets to be delivered within about 30 minutes, which we really appreciated.

Unfortunately, the apartment did not meet our expectations, especially considering that we booked it well in advance for a family of four (two adults and two children). The biggest issue was that the apartment is not really suitable for four guests. The sofa is not extendable and is too soft and uncomfortable for sleeping. We had clearly indicated in the booking that we were travelling as a family of four, so we would have expected to be informed in advance that the sleeping arrangements might not be suitable for two children. We only received this information one day before arrival, which was too late for us to make alternative arrangements. The apartment was also not prepared for four guests upon arrival. There were not enough towels and bed sheets available, although the host was responsive and arranged for additional ones to be brought shortly after we contacted them. Another concern was the cleanliness. Although some parts of the apartment appear recently renovated, the overall level of cleanliness was disappointing. The bathroom, kitchen, and some of the dishes were not cleaned to the standard we would expect, which made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. The apartment is small and suitable for two guests rather than a family of four. There is no proper dining table inside; the only option is a small living room table or the outdoor patio table. While having access to a patio is a nice idea, the outdoor space is quite limited and may not be very practical depending on the weather. The location was also not ideal for us. It is on the outskirts of Oxford, and we did not find the surrounding area particularly attractive or convenient compared to other parts of the city. Overall, while the host was kind and responsive, we would not recommend this apartment for families or groups of four guests.
