About this cottage rental
Nestled in a remote countryside setting down a no-through lane, it offers charming views and easy access to footpaths and glorious Somerset countryside.
It was used as an artist’s studio for many years by successful local artist, Roy Avis, and many original examples of his work can be found displayed throughout the cottage.
Ground Floor: Bright and colourfully furnished, it features a cosy lounge with a Smart TV, a quirky separate dining room/workspace, a small, well equipped, modern kitchen, and a shower room. There is excellent, reliable, WiFi in the property.
First Floor: Upstairs, there is a very large, light filled bedroom with double skylights and windows, ample storage and a king-sized bed. The property sleeps 2 adults.
Outside: The garden is a lovely green, peaceful space with the sound of running water from a nearby pond. It has seating, a large table for al-fresco dining and recliner for sun bathing. This is all set against the backdrop of a striking limestone quarry cliff face.
