Fantastic comfy few days in countryside setting near to Bruton
The property is fantastic for a home from home stay with everything you could possibly need. Host was lovely and friendly. Beautiful setting. Also had a dedicated EV charging point. Close to arty Bruton and lots of amazing restaurants short drive.
WiFi is not brilliant but I wouldn’t expect it to be when staying in the countryside.

Lovely comfortable and cosy cottage.
Lovely stay in The Winning Post cottage for New Year with everything we needed. Comfortable and cosy. Perfect location in the countryside away from it all and within a good distance too surrounding towns to visit. For staying over at New Year it was very good value for money.
I would have liked for the garden area to have been more private and to have had our own patio area separate from the owners patio, which was linked on. Fortunately for us staying at this time of the year, we weren't sitting outside.

Beautiful home in an amazing location
The Winning Post is a beautiful property. Clean light and airy, all the facilities you would want as a home from home.. Balcony with access from both bedrooms upstairs, excellent outside space with your own patio and bbq. 3 beautiful bathrooms. The photos really don’t do it justice! Excellent location for travelling around Somerset, 30mins from Longleat, Cheddar Gorge, Wickey Hole etc. 5 min drive to great restaurants, lovely countryside to explore. The host Rachel is lovely and friendly. Would totally recommend!

Beautiful accommodation in a tranquil setting
Lovely stay at the winning post. The house was beautiful, peaceful and spotlessly clean. Great amenities, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and immaculate bathrooms. Only small niggle was we couldn’t get the wifi to work, but as we were out and about all the time enjoying Glastonbury Festival it didn’t impact our stay at all.

great location, friendly and helpful owners. exceptionally clean and well equipped. the surrounding gardens were lovely. comfortable beds etc.
