Perfect central location , great hosts just perfect for a long weekend
Compact but everything you need, stylishly fitted out and furnished in a listed building’s basement with it own front door and patio to the street

The location was fantastic, it was lovely to be across from such a lovely church and central to many places to visit.
Freddie and Liz were so lovely and hospitable and easy to contact. They were also very patient with me initially whilst trying to decipher my accessibility needs.
The bed was super comfortable - I don’t think I’ve ever been so comfortable being away from my own bed. It was really comfy.
It was equipped with iron and ironing board and heater - not that we needed any of these but it was a nice touch in case.
There were a few little things that aren’t the end of the world but could be improved if desired.
I’m not sure if a fan was available (I didn’t ask, so this might be irrelevant) but if not, that could be useful during hot seasons. It airs out well with the door open but during the night it might be nice to have one for a little extra circulation.

This is a property that is very well located in Frome near almost everything. Frome itself is well placed for touring Somerset.
There a good restaurants in Frome and the hosts kindly gave guidance which was valuable and appreciated.
WifI was good.
The property is really well presented and designed.
Previous reviews talk about an underlying odour of drains (sometimes wet dog) and I would agree with this - it's not great and at times unpleasant. There was a blanket / throw left for our use but this smelt damp (wet dog) and not helped by a dog bowl ramdomly left in the property. In fairness we are not dog fans so this could just be us but the odours needs addressing.
