Lovely cottage getaway, ideal for short stays

We loved the fact that it was in such a beautiful part of the country, perfect for doggy and cat walks! The only thing I didn’t realise was just how busy Frome actually is, which was a bit of a problem for anxious dogs. But the property itself was lovely and welcoming. And the coffee was sublime!

The bed unfortunately. 😢 It might be partly my fault as we have a super king bed at home but I didn’t quite realise just how small the bed was. This was something we struggled with quite a bit. Also the key was quite rigid in the lock but other than that, a fantastic stay!

3 nights in October

I booked the annexe for 3 nights to catch up with a friend. We wanted a location within 2 hours of us both. Unfortunately the weather was not too kind to us but the annexe was a very comfortable place to relax in. Great location 15 minutes walk from the centre of Frome. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodation. Not like a holiday home at all. You could live there very happily. Emily was very good at communicating with us and very accommodating too. Everything was very easy including check in. A very lucky find. Would not hesitate to recommend it.

Comfortable and clean, just what we needed for a short break.

The annex is spotless, has everything you need and is very comfortable. It was bigger than we had expected from the pictures. Great shower! We would recommend and stay again.

A more up to date TV would be great so we could log into a TV app rather than just terrestrial TV. The drive up to the annex is tree and bush lined. Unfortunately the bushes were quite overgrown and have scratched our car. If we were to return in futures we would check with the owners before booking that this had been resolved.

Like a box no garden no outside space I messaged no one got back to me way overpriced £295 for 2 nights !!

Very enjoyable stay in a very comfortable, spotless and stylish property.

The location was great and it was so good to have a parking space next to the property. The annex was spotless, very comfortable stylishly furnished and decorated and very well equipped. I loved it and wished I could stay longer. I will definitely come back some time if I am in the area.

Perfect spacious apartment for two in Frome

Extremely spacious for a 1 bedroom apartment. Furnished & finished to a very high standard. Rural location at the end of a small lane yet only 10-15 mins walk into town. Excellent value for money. We loved it.

There was nothing we didn't like. The only thing that would have made it even more perfect would be a secure enclosed garden (to let the dogs out) but we knew the property didn't have this when we booked and so we have no complaints at all.

Delightful stay in a lovely location.

A lovely Annex with good size rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed and was bright and spacious for a 1 bed property. Induction hob, spacious fridge freezer. Good quality appliances, utensils, crockery, pans etc. The bedroom had plenty of space to move around, with a vaulted ceiling (windows had electric blinds) which made it feel even more spacious. Double comfy bed. Good size lounge with sofa, chairs, good size flat screen TV etc. Bathroom was updated and clean. Towels were big and soft. All the rooms were tastefully decorated with some nice little touches.....throws/quirky ornaments etc. There is a private parking space right outside the kitchen, so easy to unload from the car, and a small porch to hang coats, and to keep shoes. We went in December when it was bitterly cold outside, and it was a joy to come back to warm and cosy rooms. The place has a very rural feel about it, very quiet, but once you drive down the track and out down to the main road, it is very easy to connect with Longlete, Bath, Bristol etc etc, and all the lovely surrounding villages. We had one small issue with one of the kitchen appliances, where the hosts immediately came to fix/sort the issue. Overall an excellent stay, and everything was of nice quality.

One tiny comment: Late evening, eg after 9.30 ish, Wifi seemed to drop in and out, not enough to stop me in what I was doing, but enough for me to notice. Personally, I liked the place, and would come again regardless.

The location and views were beautiful, having a lovely dog walk literally at our front door was also a massive bonus for us with our puppy. Couldn't of asked for a better stay. Gorgeous place, amazing place. Highly recommend.

An immaculate cottage in a great location, especially for dog walking. A quiet home from home with super facilities. Great that dogs are allowed. And loved the detailed touches like apple juice and milk in the fridge.
