Hillside Cottage

Lovely apartment and spacious garden. The location is perfect for a trip into Bath. The apartment comes with all the facilities you could need (especially if you plan on cooking). The parking is convenient and there's definitely room for a large car. The sofa and mattress are comfy and the apartment handbook is full of useful tips and places to go. Even though it appears as if the owner lives below the apartment, you don't feel as if your privacy has been infringed.

The main thing is the bed. It is painfully squeaky and is not ideal if you're over 6ft tall. However, the mattress and pillows are very comfortable. I also was not a fan of the apartment being left unlocked with a key left inside, prior to our arrival. Personally I think the use of a lock box would be a good investment for security purposes.

The property is well situated for access to all nearby tourist towns including Bath and Frome. Well proportioned rooms, ideal as a holiday let. Compact shower room and kitchen but well fitted. Spacious living room. Super views and useful garden area.

Generally good, but sofa bed in living room is uncomfortable and bed a bit creaky!

This was an amazing quiet place to stay. Ruth the host was so obliging and any small issues very quickly resolved. The cottage is in a lovely semi rural location with easy access to Bath and surrounding areas. Lots of information was supplied of attractions and local walks. The bed was super comfortable and we would definitely stay again.

Very clean, you have everything you’d need and only 15 minutes from bath. Definitely would recommend.
