The Artful Way Hotel

The rooms are beautiful, clean, and spacious and have wonderful amenities including en suite laundry, full kitchen, and a lot of area to just spread out. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is walkable and central in the River Arts District and there are amazing studios and galleries in every direction. We took an entire day to explore the area on foot. Downtown Asheville is a six minute drive and is also extremely walkable with ample, easy, paid (but not outrageous) parking. Food and coffee are everywhere and the area has some really fantastic dining. Hotel parking is paid which is honestly sort of expected at this point especially for a boutique or more upscale hotel. It's secured, self park, easy and has unlimited in/out. The area is in close driving proximity to a lot of outdoor recreation which we appreciated as well.

Our room window was directly above a live music venue that had both indoor and outdoor shows each day we were there. It was mid October, and we were there Sun/Mon/Tue. Music was loud and extended past 11 on Sunday and past 10 on Monday. We were awake so it didn't matter much. Our upstairs neighbor for two of the nights was rather loud walking around and talking so the rooms are definitely not sound proof. I looked and couldn't find any other reviews that mentioned noise so take that for what it's worth, and maybe this was just our room! The only other little thing is that there's no coffee available beyond the in room maker, so if you enjoy more than a morning cup, expect to be leaving the property. The closest shop closes at three, and there are a couple others open later that are about 15 minutes walk.

Friendly staff. Very clean, comfortable, and spacious room. Great location and walking distance to everything.

Overall the Staff was great. Caught someone at check in that was having a bad day. Hotel was convenient to everything we wanted to do. Room was fantastic.

They charge for parking, but is a garage and secure. Not abnormal for Asheville, we checked.

Modern and clean rooms, roomy.

The location is extremely difficult to find especially after sunset. Signage is terrible (non-existent). The approach to the hotel is hidden and located behind and up and around a dead end road
