Charles is an excellent host: polite, friendly, and very helpful. He kindly allowed us to check in a little earlier than scheduled and helped us carry our luggage upstairs. Thank you for the fresh fruit, it was a thoughtful and much appreciated gesture. The room and bathroom were clean, and towels as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided. The room also included a wardrobe, a 360° fan, and mosquito screens on the windows, which made the stay even more comfortable. Charles also allowed us to leave our bags for a couple of extra hours before our flight, which gave us the chance to explore the area a bit longer. The accommodation is in a great location, in a lovely neighborhood with easy access to popular spots such as Kitsilano, Granville Island, and the University of British Columbia. The airport is also only about a 25-minute drive away. There are several good restaurants within a 10-minute walk, as well as a large supermarket nearby, making it a very convenient place to stay. If you enjoy running or walking in nature, I also highly recommend visiting Pacific Spirit Regional Park, about 3 km from the property. It feels like running through a beautiful rainforest and was one of the highlights of our stay.

This is NOT a negative aspect, just useful information for future guests: the property is a shoes-off home, so guests are expected to remove their shoes upon entering. The microwave, coffee machine, and refrigerator are located in a shared common area rather than in the room. We didn't ask about the washing machine and dryer, so we're not sure whether they are available for guest use. The property also observes quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, which helps maintain a peaceful environment for all guests. Also, during our stay, Lime shared scooters were not available in the area, so if you were planning to use them to get around, you may want to consider other transportation options.

Good location in a very quiet neighborhood. Close to Kitsilano Beach, Downtown and the University of BC. Convenient to restaurants, bars and banks. The entire house was spotless. My double room and private bathroon was exceptionally clean. Free on street parking nearby. Fast wi-fi.
