Alternatively, discover the Wordsworth House and Garden in Cockermouth (4 miles), and then come home to dine al fresco in the cottage’s pretty garden.
Park up your car and step inside your pretty cottage. You will first encounter an inviting entrance hall that leads you to a pleasant open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. Take a moment to relax in front of the TV in the lounge area before heading to the smart kitchen to cook up a storm for your loved ones. Eat at the stylish dining table before heading back to the lounge area to catch up on your favourite TV shows. At the end of the day, a cosy bedroom with a double bed awaits. Completing the layout, you’ll find a contemporary bathroom with a walk-in shower and WC.
