I loved the update the owner has done since myself & my boyfriend came here last summer. The green really brightens up the accommodation and it’s gorgeous! The location is very assessable to get to Keswick / Cockermouth etc and easy to get too. There is enough facilities for self catering too.
I like how the owner has milk in the fridge for anyone to use. I also found the new bedside lamp to be amazing as it has two outlets to charge your phone(s) and this is highly convenient. The overall upgrade has really complemented the cottage
I did find it a bit cold even with the electric radiator on. However, it was during the Storm Dave so that has a factor to it. However, it won’t stop me from returning to this cottage for the 3rd time.

Studio was very clean and comfortable lovely and warm everything described was spot on shops food and pubs only 5mins drive away will defo come back in the summer.

Beautifully area in good location accessible to good walks and cockermouth. Everything that was needed inside of property was available.
When we arrived my heart sank at the building that we were staying in as it was not at all inviting and in need of repair. Cracks to wall, front door not painted, not at all inviting. Inside had not been aired and had a wet dog smell. I opened the windows put on the heating and lit some insense burners and it dealt with the smell within a couple of days. We left a day early as the bed was directly under a sky light with no cover and so got no sleep which was exacerbated by an uncomfortable matress. The decoration was modern and nice but there were many touch ups required to broken handles and scraped walls. The outside area could have been lovely but instead the string night lights didn’t work, the fire pit had rusted and had a hole at the bottom and the flower pots were growing weeds. I know that we were out all day but our stay could have been much better. Loved hearing the horses in the morning and late afternoon.
