Had a warm & cosy welcoming stay. Would definitely come back again.

It was very close to all amenities, it was warm & cosy had all facilities needed for the few nights we were there or if we had stayed longer. It was also handy to have the owner contact you & give you a personal detailed welcome.

Left in the cold, no response

The drive to Cockermouth and the car park as thats as close as we got!!

The two plus hours sitting in minus two degrees awaiting to get into the property which was locked, no pin code, no response from property. Had to call booking.com for help, pay lot more money for another accommodation in the area.

Superb ground floor flat situated in a central location which is quite with its own private parking.

Beautiful presented ground floor flat situated centrally in Cockermouth, close to shops, restaurants and cafes, yet in a quiet location with onsite private parking spot.

We couldn’t fault the property.

A well located ground floor flat, in a very pleasant town.

Location, a few yards off the Main Street was excellent, though the back road to reach the property is narrow and often lined with vehicles tricky to negotiate around. The general layout and modernity of the flat was good. Being on the ground floor was helpful and near to the parking spot - when this was free.

A small point, but the flat description on Booking.com’s website, listed a dish washer. There isn’t one, nor are tea towels provided. The parking space, though clearly marked for the flat, was twice occupied by others.

2 night Cockermouth stay

Great location just off the Main Street close to restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Dedicated free parking space. The apartment had everything you need for 2 night stay. Would recommend and return if we come to the area again. Turkish restaurant was very good and the milkshakes from Yummies were delicious.

Central location, handy flat, good value for money

Location for town centre was very handy. There was a parking space for the flat in the car park. Quiet location. Close to the river. Visited Wordsworth house, easy walk. Close to shops and restaurants. Flat was on road behind high street. Clean and tidy place.

Would have been good to have had a better sign on the door to show number, entrance and key box, especially in the dark.

Great Location and Price

The apartment was a good size and was in the perfect location for the centre of Cockermouth and comes with a parking spot. It was close to the river and all the shops and restaurants/bars. We arrived and noticed that we hadn't got any towels but by the time we had been for a quick walk we got back and they had been sorted out for us.

Lovely stay at Irene Court

The location is fantastic, it is just off the main street so nice and quiet but a few steps and you are in the middle of Cockermouth with a range of restaurants and bars. (Would particularly recommend Aspava which is just round the corner!) The apartment itself had plenty of room for two people over a long weekend. It was definitely value for money as it would be difficult to find a B&B for this price where you would only have one room and no living space. Kitchen space had plenty of pots, pans etc, only minor drawback for me was a lack of variety of glasses (wine/prosecco/pint glasses. Not a negative as such, more of a tip for future travellers to bring their own/buy some cheap ones from Wilko which is close by). Getting into the apartment was made simple thanks to Darren, he called on the morning of arrival and gave thorough instructions, which he also text to me. Added bonus that the apartment came with a parking space!

Very good

The apartment was based in an excellent location in Cockermouth as I was here for a wedding weekend. Only a few minutes walk to the high street which had some lovely bars and restaurants. The apartment was really good value for money and parking which was free of charge. The host kept us updated throughout so we knew how to enter the facility and get WiFi access. I would stay at the property again on my next trip to the Lake District.

Great location, on the main street in less than a minute. Darren was very responsive and helpful. He gave us all of the information that we needed. The apartment had good facilities and parking right on the doorstep.

Room was a little warm at night, thinner duvet or a fan would have been good, but I'm being picky.

Exceptional

The location of the apartment is really good, there’s takeaways and restaurants a 5 min walk away. There’s also lots to do around Cockermouth - we went to the Wildlife Park and into Keswick which was super easy to do. The apartment comes with basic kitchen utensils and mugs/plates/cutlery etc. The heating and shower facilities were excellent (especially after a cold day outside 🥶). Overall really pleased with the place.

Exceptional

It was spotless and had everything you needed. Its modern, well taken care of and is actually alot bigger than the pics avertised. I like the fact that the owners rang before to explain how to gain entry. It is the perfect place to unwind from busy life.

I didn't like the noise from upstairs. (But I'm aware that isn't the host fault.) They kept us awake on both nights we stayed. Other than that there isn't anything we didn't like.

Enjoyable few days

Location was great, central to everything you needed. Plenty of hot water and the beds were so comfortable.

Crumbs in kitchen cupboard, just 2 wine glasses and they were mismatched, sofa uncomfortable. We still enjoyed it but attention to detail in some areas would have made the stay nicer although it hasn’t put us off staying again.

Bed was lovely and comfortable just wish we had more peace to sleep. Property was ideally located near centre of town. Ideal property for a couple to stay.

There was noise from the apartment above till very late then people coming and going from 6am in another apartment. Obviously nothing the owner could have done about this just that soundproofing doesn't seem to be great.
