Loved the caravan site. The caravan was spotless and had more than everything we needed. Dave was so helpful from check in to check out. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks Dave.

I needed somewhere for a short stay to attend a funeral of a friend in West Cumbria. I've stayed at this park before, so I knew it was quiet and pet friendly with a dedicated dog exercise area. I really liked the veranda, as I could keep the door open for fresh air as it was very warm. My dog could go outside, but couldn't wander off. Ideally situated for anyone wanting to use as a base for travelling into the Lake District and surrounding areas.
I struggled opening the keypad.

The area was beautiful.
The Lodge was very close to a very busy trunk road with HGV passing throughout the night. We did not sleep well the first night. We bought earplugs for everyone and using these we slept reasonably well.
