I was surprised with a lovely 4 poster bed in my room. Staff were extremely dog friendly. I was a solo traveller with my dog and made to feel right at home as always here. Dan, Lewis and SJ were amazing. So friendly and the service was brilliant. Highly recommend this hotel. It’s my favourite hotel in the lakes!
The evening food is average but you get what you pay for and Aslong as you can expect that you won’t be disappointed

Good hospitality. Home cooked chips
The rooms were not clean. Not just the bedroom, the hall, stairs, landing, restaurant all had visible cobwebs. The bathroom needed a deep clean as did the carpet in our bedroom
