The caravan was very clean, cosy and the beds were so comfortable. There is everything you could need while there, including a dog emergency bag in case you’ve forgotten anything for them. There was also a lovely welcome pack with snacks for us as well as the dogs. Location is great - we went to Buttermere which was 26 minutes away. We went for some lovely food at the Galloping Horse, in Workington (Louise, the host, recommended the Countryman, but it was fully booked when we wanted to go).
Nothing - we loved everything.

Even though the place is small, it feels spacious (family of 4). The interior design is great, lots of storage and comfy. There were also small treats, family games, kitchen supplies, great shower and huge towels. everything exceeded our expectations.
The lakes around are less traveled, it's a quit peaceful area, with lots to explore. We had the best time ever.

Bayfield was so cosy and clean, situated in a great location for an easy drive to lots of popular locations. Although there was no internet it was quite nice to be totally disconnected for a change and fully take in the beautiful sites the lakes had to offer! Louise is lovely and gave us great instructions to find the caravan and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch too! (We also really appreciate it being dog friendly so our furry friends could come along too!)

We loved our stay here! Communication from Louise and entry to the caravan was seamless. The caravan is utterly lovely - everything was so comfortable, cosy, and perfectly clean. It was the perfect base for us visiting family in the area - I wish we'd have found this sooner! The site is very quiet and tidy, and the view of the mountains from the kitchen window, especially when snowcovered, was beautiful. We would definitely recommend it, and we will return.
