Set over two storeys, this desirable destination offers charm and tranquillity for your escape to Suffolk. Inside, you’ll find a choice of spaces in which you can sit back and relax: the spacious lounge with its comfortable seating and Smart TV, with a wood burner that’s perfect for the winter months, or the cosy snug that’s filled with books and a great place to catch up with a bit of admin if necessary. The kitchen boasts a wonderful range oven, and in the utility, you’ll find not only laundry facilities but also a microwave and coffee machine. When you’re ready for a cuppa or a meal, you’re bound to appreciate the delightful views over the garden from the dining table. The three charming bedrooms, with some areas of low, sloping ceilings, are all on the first floor, sharing a family bathroom. The outside space here is truly impressive: mature trees, beautiful flower beds and a huge lawn, plus an outdoor dining area with a BBQ. In addition, a courtyard to one side has the benefit of additional outdoor seating.
In Snape, you’ll find a couple of pubs, delightful walks – by the river, across the heath or through woodland – and river boat trips (in the summer months). Stroll to the arts centre of Snape Maltings, 1 mile away, and explore its converted Victorian buildings that now house shops, galleries, restaurants and renowned performance venues. Or head to the seaside and spend the day at Aldeburgh, 5 miles away.
