A stunning home with an elevated decor and flair offers plenty of space in a private setting surrounded by meadow and woods. Distant views of Cadillac Mountain greet you from east facing windows, and don't be surprised if you see a deer or two wander through your yard! Centrally located in the charming residential village of Somesville to make all of Mt. Desert Island's treasures just a 15 to 20 minutes' drive away. Island Explorer Stop for free shuttle service throughout the island is a very short distance away.
FIRST FLOOR: Enter from the drive to a large breezeway that opens to an entry leading to a spacious updated Kitchen with counter seating for two people and plenty of meal prep equipment for even the most discriminating chef. Step down to an informal family dining room with large harvest style table and bench seating, surrounded by windows overlooking the back yard area. Adjacent to the Kitchen is a combined Living Room and formal Dining area with table that seats eight. Living Room features comfortable seating, large TV, fireplace, and doors to a wrap-around three-season porch with sliders that open to the view and front meadow. Half Bath near entry. Laundry facilities in Basement.
SECOND FLOOR: Carpeted stairs lead to four bedrooms: Bedroom 1 features a Queen Bed and mountain views. Bedroom 2 (the Primary Bedroom) features a Queen Bed, mountain views, and en suite Full Bath with walk in tiled shower and separate whirlpool bath. Bedroom 3 includes a Double Bed and Crib. Bedroom 4 features a Queen bed and has a separate door leading to Bedroom 3. Bedrooms 1, 3 and 4 share a Full Bath with custom walk-in tiled shower. A back set of stairs leads to the first floor near the entry.
