Private Rooms near Glarus - Parking & Lake

Location in the middle of the mountain valley, amazing views from the room. 5 min away from Coop and other shops, very convenient. Room was comfortable, with fully furnished kitchen available for cooking. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay, thank you!

Glass decorations on the bathroom door might be uncomfortable from privacy perspective

Kein Frühstück gebucht. Hatten schnelle Reaktion, wegen Absage bei anderer Buchung am selben Abend diese Unterkunft gebucht. Da hatte ich schnell den Schlüssel erhalten unkompliziert vom Gastgeber organisiert. War sehr froh, dass das noch geklappt hat. Das ist eine gute Unterkunft.

The location is really good, especially for people like me to who enjoy exploring a region on a bike; there is a lot to see locally, especially when it comes to mountains and lakes. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to do everything, so maybe I will have to return. The Wohnung itself was nice, I especially liked the flooring 👌 And the room was perfect, just enough for me to hit the mountains 🏔️ during the day, then drop my damp clothing on the heater and curl into bed with a book or listen to a podcast.

Fairly modern rooms and nice Kitchen area below.

It was not clear if we could use the kitchen or not as the hosts from the shop below had recently outsourced the rooms above to someone else. There was meant to be the possibility of ordering a breakfast - this was not possible. The property is located directly on the main road with lots of traffic, making it loud if you have the window open in the summer - which you have to because it gets hot under the roof. The original owners in the shop below were quite nice but you had the impression it was more of a burden to rent the place.
