The Hotel Raben in Linthal was conveniently located, the room was comfortable, the food was great.

Enjoyed my stay at Hotel Raben in Linthal very much. The room and bathroom were very clean, the staff friendly and attentive and the breakfast buffet was extensive with cheese, meats, eggs, pastries, many types of bread, muesli, cereals, yogurt, coffee, juice, fresh fruits and more served in a lovely dining area with beautiful views. My room also had beautiful views of the picturesque town and mountains. The room was a good size with good lighting, had a wardrobe, a TV, desk and chair, a nightstand and a comfortable bed. Conveniently located by a grocery store, a short walk to a bank, the train station and the funicular to Braunwald. Dinner in the restaurant was also a great experience- had a delicious chicken cordon bleu and an excellent salad, with generous portions. Service for our party of 9 was excellent. Everyone was pleased with their entrees and the wine. There is also an outdoor dining area, an outdoor play area and an indoor playroom for children, free WiFi and parking for cars and bikes. Great accommodation, great food, great experience and a great value. Many thanks to the Familie Kenel for a very pleasant stay at their lovely Hotel Raben!

I wish I could have stayed another week and could learn to make the chicken cordon bleu as well as was prepared there!

The restaurant served very tasty, substantial evening meals. The breakfast was varied and of a high quality. My room was very clean, comfortable and quiet at night.The staff were delightful.

OK hotel with good kitchen

Hotel has a nice outdoor terrace where you can eat dinner or just have a drink. Dinner was tasty. Beds comfortable. Shared bathrooms clean and in good shape.

Location is bit off the Via Alpina hiking trail - probably better for bikers, than hikers

Pleasant stay with easy access to Braunwald.

The hotel was about 10 minute walk from the Braunwaldbahn and there was free parking. The breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meat, cheeses, cereal and nice, fresh breads. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, with a good-size ensuite bathroom with a spacious shower. Shampoo/shower gel and soap was provided.

We prefer firmer pillows, but big pillows with not much support are pretty common in Switzerland from our experience, so it's to be expected and not a big deal.

Chalet ambiance, renewed room and very good restaurant

Possibility to let the bike in the garage during the night Nice renewed, clean, big, confortable and quiet room. In despite that the WC/shower was on the etage floor it was not an issue as it was very clean and a lavabo was available in the room Chalet atmosphere in the room and in the restaurant Best Wild menu I never eat Friendly personal Good breakfast served in a nice room with big windows and wood floor.

Hotel for walkers in the beautiful mountains. Outside each room there is a tray to leave your walking boots. Nice breakfast room.Lots of little decorations all over the hotel. Nice garden behind the hotel to have dinner or a drink
