Smiley Apartment

We chose this apartment for the location, price and washing machine. It was a little difficult to find, but I think most places in Venice would be a challenge. I would say we got what we paid for. The apartment was clean but definitely "rustic". The kitchen was very basic - not equipped for cooking. The washer took forever to do a cycle, so I hand washed in the sink. Fortunately the unit had floor fans to help dry which was nice. The bedroom is on the second floor with a steep staircase. The bathroom was very small. My husband had to duck to use the toilet. We were only there one night, so it was fine and the bed was surprisingly comfortable and it was very quiet.

Accommodations in Venice were generally pricey, so this apartment fit the need for our one night. I really wanted a washer mid trip. That worked out well enough, but not great. Other places to stay were a lot further walk, so that aspect was good as well.

The bedroom is nice. And adequate kitchen/sitting area.

The bathroom is too small.
