Cosy 2bed, 2 bath in vibrant Oval, Kennington with free parking by Gold Stays

The proximity to the city was a big highlight. Plus being able to park the car out the front was a huge plus. The apartment had so many items to make a stay great.

Initially we were worried because the gutter was quite high to get up where the parking space was and we weren't confident driving up it on a fairly busy road. Once we messaged the host to confirm we were able to park out the front which was great for unloading all our suitcases. The unit is great in so many ways but it is compact so we had to step over open suitcases but it's understandable in London.

The interior of the property was lovely and well thought out

When approaching the property the building itself looked very rundown. However, the basement where we were staying had a smart front door and welcoming lights. When we opened the door it was a lovely surprise to find an exceptional apartment. Don’t judge a book by its cover!

Great location, clean and comfortable

We (een gezin met 2 kinderen) hebben genoten van dit fantastische verblijf. De locatie is super, net buiten de enorme drukte van het centrum, maar dichtbij genoeg om de levendigheid van Londen te voelen, en om zowel lopend als met de bus gemakkelijk het centrum in te komen (30 minuten met de bus naar Piccadilly Circus bijvoorbeeld). Naast de woning (enkele huizen ertussen) is een grote Tesco en in de straat zijn diverse eetgelegenheden. De buurt is prima, we voelden ons er veilig, konden de hond goed uitlaten, ook 's avonds. De eigen, gratis parkeerplaats op de oprit van de woning is echt heel erg fijn. De woning is van binnen net zoals op de foto's, heel gezellig en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het contact met Ed verliep ook helemaal prima. Wij zouden een verblijf bij Gold Stays absoluut nog eens boeken :)
