Melrose Hotel

Very friendly, very helpful, we booked the family room, it was exactly what we needed. I highly rate the customer services, the welcoming environment and everything was clean and tidy. We would stay here again... Thank you for your services and having us :)

Wish it did food like breakfast, wish the TV was in a better location but this is all minor and wouldn't let it take from how well this hotel really is... We were very happy overall with everything :)

The warm welcome from Marisa was lovely , she messaged to ask if we needed anything in advance, inc a parking space and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and throughout the stay. The room was small but cosy and comfortable, the shower was hot and the room was clean. There were nice touches of cookies and drinks to help yourself in reception . Maybe better to have them in the rooms as there was not many milk sachets, I did text Marisa and it was re filled. My children liked going to get a hot choc in the evening. The hotel was great as it was Close to the seafront. We paid £5 extra to keep our car at the hotel until 3pm the day of leaving which was good value. There was also a small TV, if you're looking for luxuary this isn't for you. It's basic but with friendly staff that look after you. We'd definitely stay again!

Room was slightly smaller than expected and The towels were quite dry and tough but we managed. We found it v good value for money and just what we needed for 2 nights stay. We'd just bring our own towels next time! No problem.

lovely host, very welcoming, everything available although may have been better in the rooms. Showers were very small but nice and hot and powerful. Great location for central pier. remember to book parking in advance although there is a car park not far

Walls very thin and could hear clearly everything including conversations in the next room, bed creaked at every move

How clean it was.

How small the rooms were , only one pillow for each single bed and 2 for a double. The worst part we booked as a family of 5 yet were put onto different floors We we messaged the owners to ask them a question (which they told us to do) and still even now haven’t got a reply.
