Fifty Two Old Elvet

Location was spot on couldn’t have found anywhere as convenient. Parking was brilliant also as right next to apartment so loading and unloading suitcases was very easy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if we come back to Durham.

The outside entrance was a bit grubby, needed a sweep around at least and the two planters need replanting to make it look more inviting and welcoming. There was only 3 coat hangers in each wardrobe for two people, no waste bin in en-suite, door lock to property very unpredictable, sometimes difficult to lock and unlock. These are minor problems but to me first impressions count, if these items were dealt with it would make for a much better stay (in my view).

Perfect location , well equipped kitchen , good communication with host . Was able to park the car . 2 nice bedrooms and ample sitting area

There was nothing not to like , although the tv/internet connection wasn’t the best . But the good points out weighed this

The location was brilliant. The apartment was fantastic, great amount of space and well appointed kitchen. Area was quiet, despite being centrally located, and really close to some of the main Durham focal points.

WiFi did not work but alternative was provided
