The location for us was excellent, off-road parking was great. The house was well equipped and it was lovely to have a garden.

The 1970s vibe wallpaper wasn't exactly to our taste!

Beautiful home with all the facilities you could possibly need. Lovely enclosed garden. Excellent for children and dogs (even had a wendy house/den and child's picnic table). Central location with easy access to Wharton Park and the city centre. Clean and comfortable with cosy additional soft furnishings. Childrens' cutlery and plastic dishes were appreciated.

Very minor issue but the double bed in the master bedroom would be better with a headboard. A door mat front and back would be helpful.

The location of the property was perfect and the house was a good size and quiet. There was good communication with the host.

I had to re wash the cups when I made the fist cup of tea as they were dirty. The furniture in the living room was the most uncomfortable. We stayed for 5 nights and found it very difficult to relax on an evening. Two very hard backed sofas that are more in style in a reception room. The tv is not connected to free view which makes watching live tv very annoying. The towels were scratchy, grey and old. Usually when you stay in a short term rental, the kitchen has a basic stock of oil, salt and pepper etc. There was nothing. I left some for the next guests. No microwave (this was not in the listing but they’re very handy). The garden was unkempt and the plastic chairs not inviting.
