Namastè

First and foremost, our host Oscar made this trip unforgettable. He is an amazingly warm, welcoming, and fascinating person who cares about his guests. He went above and beyond to help us with absolutely everything, from smooth arrival arrangements and parking to the best local recommendations for dining and exploring. He is so friendly and well-connected; it feels like he knows everyone in town! The apartment itself was absolutely perfect. It was spotlessly clean, highly comfortable, and specially designed with a homey atmosphere. While compact, it is brilliantly laid out with a lovely double bedroom, a dining area with a kitchenette, and a living room featuring a double comfortable sofa bed. It is also quiet and peaceful. The location is just a short 5-minute walk to the lake beach on one side, and mountain views on the other. We highly recommend Oscar and his beautiful apartment!

Just few minutes from Como lake, 5 min walk from Lido and big park for kids.

Mandello del Lario est un joli village tranquille d’où nous avons pu visiter Varenna en train, Bellagio en bateau et Côme en voiture. La gare ferroviaire et l’embarcadère sont accessibles à pied de l’appartement. On peut aussi se rendre à pied à la plage et au supermarché. Il n’est sûrement pas facile de se garer à proximité l’été. Nous avons donc accepté la proposition d’Oscar de louer la place de son voisin pour 10€/j. L’appartement est bien rénové et plutôt confortable. Le quartier est très calme, on n’entend que le joli chant nocturne des oiseaux ou, parfois, les chiens du secteur ! La chambre a vue sur la montagne. Le salon étant mansardé n’offre pas de vue. Oscar est toujours prêt à répondre aux demandes et très réactif.

À noter que la douche est plutôt étroite donc elle ne conviendrait pas aux personnes trapues, ni à ceux mesurant plus d’1m90 du fait du bloc de douche fixe. La climatisation étant uniquement dans le salon, cela nécessite de laisser les portes du couloir pour rafraîchir la chambre.

Great location, host got us in a little early. Very comfortable apartment close to lake shore piazzas.
