Very clean and close to train and walking promenade along lake.

Location was great. Large apartment. Very quiet on lake.

Did not sleep well. Pillows were terrible. Very hard and flat. The check- in process on line was much too long. WiFi never worked.

Parking issues need to be resolved, especially in view of a few shady characters we noticed "scanning the situation" noticed over a period of a few days. I ended up having a set of my Allen keys stolen (admittedly my fault) in a matter of a minute of carelessness.

The restaurant downstairs was very noisy both nights of our stay until about 1am. This ruined our stay and we left exhausted. We couldnt shut the window because there was no aircon

relaxed and easy going stay.

It was a spacious apartment for a couple - having the other room meant that we had somewhere else to sit. Good kitchen. Hosts were great a quick response when needed. I really appreciated them going out of their way to get us a fan when we requested one. 2 minutes from the harbour so easy access to the ferries. One stop on the ferry over the lake there is a lovely beach (forgot the name) which is relatively quiet and a good place to have a swim and spend the day. Cafes and restaurants nearby. A 7 - 10 min walk to the train station. Although currently there is a bus replacement service in place til September - but still didn't have to wait long for a bus . Would happily stay in Mandello again.

Feels petty but an electric kettle would be a bonus rather than heating kettle on gas ring. (it was very hot when we were there in June)

Viskas buvo puiku❤️ bekontaktis įsiregistravimas, nuostabiai graži vieta🥰 Išėjus į kiemą iškart atsiduri prie ežero, apsupto kalnų. Šalia kavinės, parduotuvės, traukinių stotis už mažiau nei 10 min kelio, taip pat už kelių žingsnių parkas su promenada palei pat ežerą, parke vaikų žaidimų aikštelė. Traukiniu tik viena stotelė iki Varenna miestelio. Numeryje yra viskas, ko gali prireikti: puodai, keptuvės, indai, stalo įrankiai, virdulys, kavos aparatas, higienos reikmenys, plaukų džiovintuvas, lygintuvas, viename iš numerių buvo ir skalbimo mašina su paliktom skalbimo kapsulėm. Virtuvėje buvo palikta druskos, cukraus, kavos kapsulių, arbatos, alyvuogių aliejaus. Numeriai šilti, erdvūs, labai tvarkingi. Tikrai nuostabi vieta❤️

Magnifik plats men jobbig kontakt med värden. Ok lägenhet.

Lägenheten är ok. Det man betalar för är läget och omgivningarna som är fantastiska, som hämtade ur en saga.

Betyget dras ner mycket av att vi kände oss jagade och hotade av värdens procedur inför vår ankomst. Det är möjligt att det beror på kulturskillnader. Efter detta besök inser jag att jag verkligen är van vid: - Frihet under ansvar - Inte så många nerskrivna regler, men de få regler som finns bryr man sig om. - ett grundläggande antagande om att de flesta människor uppför sig väl, helt av egen fri vilja. I Mandello var allt detta precis tvärtom. Ett exempel: i reglerna som vi var tvungna att acceptera några dagar i förväg så stod det att man inte fick bo i lägenheten om man inte tillhandahöll ett kreditkort vid ankomsten - ett vanligt betalkort skulle inte duga. (Vi råkade ha ett kreditkort, men det är ju inte alls självklart att alla har med sig det på sin resa!). Om man tex misslyckades med att sortera soporna på rätt sätt så skulle det kosta 50 Euro enligt kontraktet. Men när vi sedan kom till boendet så behövdes inget kreditkort, och det fanns inte ens några instruktioner eller tillräckligt många kärl för att sortera soporna. Kontraktet - som alltså inte verkade ha någon funktion - var på nio sidor, fullt av detaljerade regler och summor som det skulle kosta om man gjorde fel. Och det var bara en del av den mest omfattande online-procedur jag har varit med om. För två nätter! Till råga på allt så fungerade inte denna online-process utan jag hamnade bara i en loop gång på gång, trots många försök. Jag går inte in på detaljerna, utan konstaterar bara att detta orsakade väldigt mycket stress och tog helt orimligt mycket tid från min semester. Instruktionerna för att komma in i huset skulle inte skickas förrän online-processen var klar. Jag var på en treveckors Interrail-resa med familjen och vi åkte fyra olika tåg den dagen, med varierande tillgång till internet. Jag skickade flera meddelanden till värden om att det inte funkade. När tiden började ta slut fick jag tigga om att få instruktionerna trots att processen inte fungerade, vilket hon till slut skickade.

Kiváló elhelyezkedés, bolt, étterem, pékség, zöldséges a közelben.

Mandello kiváló település, nyugodt, hangulatos . Ugyan ez mondható el a szállásról is. Tiszta apartman, jól felszerelt, új fürdőszoba. Mi az egy hálószobás apartmanban voltunk négyen felnőttek, tágas, jól elfértünk. Szívesen visszatérnék ide.

A nappaliban a matracot kényelmetlenek, de ettől függetlenül ajánlom a szállást!
