The apartment was spacious and comfortable. They're were buses outside every 15 mins into Portsmouth and along the seafront. The grandchildren loved the toys and could run up the very long hall, we all loved staying here. Our host was excellent and very helpful when we called with any questions about the apartment
In this heatwave it was very hot in the front room, we couldn't open the top window but this was an exceptionally hot period of British weather, a bigger fridge was needed, an extra baking tray to cook with, I took my own. It would be difficult for the elderly to get luggage from the car up the stairs into the apartment or from the car park

Its position right on the common and near great selections of bars, shops and buses into the city. Huge rooms, comfy beds, clean bathrooms . Kitchen had everything there you would need for a stay. Fabulous views out over the Common to the Solent and Isle of Wight. Would definitely stay here again.
Because it was a busy weekend, Sail GP competition, I was hard to find a parking spot in the permit area, but we didn’t arrive quite late on the Friday. However once parked we didn’t need the car all weekend.
