Welcome to Reel Memories, a gorgeous beach home only a 300-step walk from the beach, located in the exclusive St. George Plantation community. With its own private pool, hot tub, and elevator, you and your family have everything you need to make a fabulous St. George Island vacation. This home also participates in the St. George Plantation amenities program, which allows all guests complimentary use of two community pools, tennis and pickleball courts, the Plantation Clubhouse w/meeting space, fitness center, nature trails, access to Bob Sikes Cut, and more.
The home is decorated with a beach theme throughout and has beautiful hardwood floors in most of the house. On the top floor, enjoy the spacious kitchen with granite countertops. Through the three sets of double doors that let in plenty of natural light, go outside and relax in Adirondack or rocking chairs and enjoy the beautiful ocean view from the large porch. The dining room table seats 10, four bar stools cozy up to the counter, and the dining table on the porch seats six, perfect for alfresco meals.
This home has four bedrooms, two of which are primary suites and one of which is a bunk room. The home has HDTVs in every bedroom, plus a 58-inch LED TV with Blu-ray and surround sound in the living room. The family room is stocked with puzzles, games, and books for rainy days. The house comes with a port-a-crib and highchair for a little one. Outside, you can enjoy the pool and jacuzzi area. The home also has a private outdoor shower and fish cleaning station as well as plenty of parking under the home. You'll be six-and-a-half miles from St. George Island Lighthouse and 12 miles from Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve Nature Center, so you'll always have something fun to do during your stay.

This was our first trip to St. George Island. We loved this house and the neighborhood. We plan to come back.

Fantastic location just steps to the beach. The home is super secluded and the view of the Gulf every morning was breathtaking. The kitchen had everything you could possible imagine and we were blown away by the pool and hot tub. The VACASA team was super quick to address the WiFi and cable issue. The shampoo and bath products were a very pleasant surprise. The only drawback was the listing stated that fold out beds were available in the study. There really is no study…as the pull out sofa beds are in the family room. And when we pulled those out to use them, they were full of crumbs and food. That was not a huge issue as we were able to vacuum it up with the house cleaning supplies and use the abundance of provided clean linens. We would definitely stay at the home again.

We enjoyed our stay in this home. It was superbly equipped with the exception of the need for a new coffee maker that turns off automatically and brews quicker. The living and dining area were great and we enjoyed the pool and quick walk to the beach, using a wagon for the kids and their toys. Our two-week stay was interrupted by hurricane Helene. We evacuated SGI. Relieved that the island was spared a direct hit, we expected to hear from Vacasa when it was safe to return. No word, nothing at all. We called the corporate 1-888 number to inquire if internet was on in the house and received word that there had been no reported outages. We drove back to SGI and enjoyed our stay with still no info from Vacasa. During a time when communication was paramount, Vacasa failed.
