Coral Bay Villa

From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcome at Villa Coral Bay. We were greeted with such genuine warmth and kindness that we instantly felt at home. The accommodation exceeded all of our expectations. Calling it a "bungalow" almost doesn't do it justice—it's more like a spacious private house with three comfortable bedrooms, making it absolutely perfect for families or small groups of up to six people. Every bedroom has its own private shower and washing facilities, which made our stay even more convenient. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The small kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare your own meals, while the large refrigerator and even a washing machine were fantastic extras that made a huge difference during our stay. As a thoughtful welcome, the host had even provided us with an initial supply of drinking water, which was a lovely gesture and greatly appreciated after our journey. The entire property is modern and highly functional. The WiFi was reliable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, all the lighting and appliances were in excellent condition, and everything simply worked exactly as it should. Our host was always just a message away, incredibly responsive, and genuinely happy to help with every question or request. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the unforgettable sunset Tuk Tuk safari we booked with him. It gave us the chance to experience the breathtaking wildlife and natural beauty of Sri Lanka up close—we saw countless crocodiles, beautiful peacocks, and even wild elephants in their natural habitat. It was truly a magical experience we'll never forget. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Arugam Bay. Villa Coral Bay offers outstanding hospitality, comfort, and great value. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would love to come back again in the future. Thank you for making our stay so special!

We really enjoyed our stay at Coral Bay Villa. One of the highlights was the air conditioning in each of the three bedrooms, which was especially appreciated during the warmer days. We also valued the mosquito nets over every bed. As a group of friends, having two keys for the apartment made it much more convenient for everyone to come and go independently. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The wife greeted us warmly and even offered us a welcome drink, which was a lovely touch. Check-in and check-out were easy, and we also appreciated the support with washing powder and bottled water. Overall, we loved the aesthetic of the accommodation. The high-ceilinged rooms created a spacious atmosphere, and the use of quality materials such as the wooden windows and doors, along with the marble bathroom walls, gave the villa a charming and elegant feel. Having a washing machine was very convenient, and the outdoor tap for rinsing off sand before entering the apartment was a thoughtful touch. The only downside was the limited parking space. We had two large cars parked at the entrance, which made it a bit difficult to pass through. Next time, we would probably leave one car parked outside the property. The accommodation is less than a 10-minute walk from both the town center and the beach. We particularly enjoyed the authentic and delicious local curries at the family-run Moon Rice restaurant and found it very convenient to have a small shop nearby for essentials such as bottled water. We would happily stay here again.
