Green Nest Yala

Beautiful pool and fantastic staff but the grounds and facilities are a little tired compared with the site photos.

Couldn’t access food or drinks except at dinner time.

I had a great time here. The personnel was outstanding, the property was lovely and serene, and nothing was too much difficulty. Due to my wife's illness, we were taken to the doctor and then the pharmacy to obtain a prescription. We didn't give a damn about the room's simplicity. Fantastic people, fantastic location

We asked for some extra towels and they gave us many to replace one that wasn’t too thick. This place was more affordable than many near Yala National Park. We liked having a refrigerator in our room.

There was difficulty with communicating since the person at the hotel didn’t speak or understand English completely. We did not care for the food served there and it was overpriced. The road to the accommodation is very bumpy and not paved so it’s hard on vehicles.

De twee medewerkers deden hun best om het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Erg fijn om na een safari in het zwembad te springen.

Er waren maar twee medewerkers en ze spraken allebei niet goed Engels. Qua communicatie waren ze afhankelijk van hun ‘baas’. De communicatie verliep met de ‘baas’ via WhatsApp of ze belde op. Ik heb liever persoonlijk contact. Al kom je maar één keer langs om even te checken hoe het gaat. Ik snap dat het laagseizoen was, maar het was voor ons en de medewerkers ongemakkelijk dat we elkaar niet begrepen. Ze deden zo hun best. Daarnaast hadden de buren keiharde muziek aan. Waarschijnlijk waren daar geen gasten en had het personeel het gezellig. Ook begrijpelijk, maar wel jammer in zo’n bijzondere omgeving. Green Nest kan hier niets aan doen, maar het verpestte voor ons wel de sfeer. Van tevoren hadden we uitgekeken naar deze accommodatie. Ook door de recensies. Kan gebeuren dat het anders uitpakt, dus zijn we eerder weggegaan.
