Wild Lotus Yala

Wild Lotus is a wonderfully relaxing place to stay, the bedrooms are huge, the bathrooms stunning! The gardens are really peaceful and the pool lovely and warm. The safaris were brilliant, we’d definitely recommend going with Wild Lotus, our guide knew what he was doing and ventured into areas the others didn’t! Food was great, the sharing menus worked really well for our family. Our hosts looked after us really well, delivery of a cup of tea on the terrace first thing in the morning was really appreciated!

We had the most wonderful time at wild lotus yala. Rohan and team were so attentive and made everything easy and such a special time. Our safari was organised for us and was an amazing experience. Dinner at the property was lovely each night and we also had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast with generous portions. Our bungalow was clean and the beds were super comfy.

Exceptional. An absolutely fabulous place to stay and our favourite in Sri Lanka. Excellent food and service Ideally placed for safari combined with relaxation. A big shout out to the manager and staff. We hope to return.

The food, especially the dinner, was well below the expected standard. We felt rushed by the manager, which didn’t make the stay feel relaxing or like a proper holiday. The manager asking for payment while we were having dinner was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Payment should be requested at check-in or check-out, not during a meal with your loved ones.
