Moderne 3 chambres, 2 douches, proche gare, wifi

We were 5 people staying here for 8 nights. We arrived by train and gave somewhat short notice as we had some delays at the airport. The host was very quick to respond when we let her know we were at the apartment and she met us outside within 10 minutes of giving notice. Very responsive, friendly, and welcoming host. Comfortable, modern, clean apartment with air conditioning in all 3 bedrooms. The 2 showers and 2 toilets were very practical. Kitchen was well-equipped and it was easy to cook when we didn't want to dine out. There were only 4 chairs at the kitchen table but there are more chairs in the bedrooms that made it possible for us all to sit together. No living room/sofa but we didn't miss it as we spent most of the day out anyway. Excellent location right next to the train station, this made it very easy to go on day trips to nearby locations such as Monaco, Menton, and Cannes. Only a 20 minute walk to Promenade des Anglais beach or 5 minutes with the tram which is also right outside the apartment. Very good connections in general (train, tram, bus). Also many great restaurants and shops nearby. There was some noise at night from the train station and from neighbouring apartments, but not loud enough to be a bother unless you're a very light sleeper (all 5 of us slept well). The windows are sound proof and the host also provided us with ear plugs for sleeping but none of us needed them. There were some issues with one of the air conditioning units in one of the bedrooms on the first night, but we contacted the host and she gave many tips on how to fix it and was very quick to come over the same day to help solve the issue. Very nice experience overall with a great apartment in an excellent location.

Some noise from the trains and neighbouring apartments but not an issue unless you're a very light sleeper (windows were also sound-proof and host provided earplugs). Some issues with one of the air conditioning units but this was solved very quickly.
