The staff were helpful and friendly, although only two of them spoke English. A young, 16-year-old, boy tried his best to keep the guests satisfied: fluent in English, he helped with any issues that arose. No misunderstandings because of language problems could take place when he was on duty. When we checked in after midnight, we were given some sandwiches and vegetables: Bulgarian hospitality was really touching. The atmosphere in the restaurant was really homely and we could truly experience the Bulgarian spirit. My practical advice: more shelves or hooks are needed in the bathroom to put the toiletries.

I'd never used a curbless shower in a hotel. It was ok if you showered before going to bed - the bathroom was already dry by the morning. But it's inconvenient if you take a shower in the morning and need to use the bathroom a few times walking on a wet floor and bringing all the water into the room and the corridor. When it comes to breakfast (which was included), you are given one dish from the menu and one drink, all in all there are 6 possibilities. There's no smorgasbord and you can't get a second helping, you need to pay for that. That's absolutely all right if someone has explained that to you beforehand. Our first breakfast left us baffled. But after the above mentioned boy spelt our doubts, our inner balance was restored 😁
