Cabin Retreat

Cute and cosy. Had everything you needed for a comfortable holiday. Home from home. Lovely quiet location. Clean and well looked after mostly. Staff are friendly and helpful. Comfy sofas. I liked the fact we could recycle. Comfy beds and fab pillows.

The steps going up to our cabin could have been made a little more secure. Steps seemed a bit loose and my mother who is in her 80s felt quite unsafe on them. Some of the grounds need cutting back and with no actual foot paths the grassed areas were very uneven. The roads are narrow and the road leading up to cabin 27 had a lot of traffic on it Sunday morning and they were all going quite fast. Not really suitable for 2 way traffic and not safe for walking especially with dogs.The big bins were overflowing. Bedrooms a bit small. Would prefer to be able to get into bed on both sides rather thanhavingtoclimbover your partner. But they were extremely comfortable and fab pillows.

Loved the cabin and where it was located

There was cobwebs in all the rooms even in the lamp. The beds being placed against the wall created problems getting out during the night having to climb over each other. Granddaughter wouldn't sleep on top bunk due to cobwebs. Tge door was really difficult to open when locked
