Lancaster Cottage

We loved the cosy but modern feel of the cottage, it was warm and welcoming with everything you need and the most beautiful views from both the front and back. It is superbly located with a short walk to the creamery and Hawes and further walks of the local area. We love Hawes so hopefully will visit and stay here again.

Nothing to dislike. If you have dogs, just be aware that the back of the house has access to the other neighbours gardens so you can't just let them out without being out with them. Not really an issue though.

Perfect location, clean tidy and everything we needed

Had lovely views they provided us with tea coffee sugars biscuits DVD player with films to watch and even provided binoculars for viewing thank you very much

Lancaster Cottage is in a perfect location for visiting the beautiful village of Hawes. It is literally around the corner from the village high street - all within walking distance. The cottage itself is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, with all ammenities. The host even left us a lovely welcome pack of drinks and biscuits. The back garden (and bedroom window) has open views to the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales - stunning! There was easy parking directly in front of the cottage. We have already booked our next visit to Lancaster Cottage.

It is a small thing - we didn't know how to advance the settings in the storage heater in the living room. I was sick during our stay and needed to keep warm. It was however very easy (if not cost effective) to turn up the kitchen heater to warm the living room.

Super clean. Nice quiet location still near the centre.
