    We were two couples in two rooms - clean and comfortable. Showers, tea and coffee, comfortable beds, good breakfast, close to Barbican and city walls. Really enjoyed our stay and would return. Xx

    Firstly, this is an excellent location—just a 10‑minute walk from all the main attractions in York city centre. The room was spacious and had everything you need for an overnight stay or even a longer visit. Don’t expect more than what a 3‑star property offers, but with a bit of maintenance, it could easily become one of the top places to stay in my opinion. Breakfast is a great added bonus for the price, and there’s also limited on‑site parking if you’re lucky enough to get a spot. The owners and staff couldn’t have been more friendly or welcoming. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit to this beautiful city.

    Needs a bit of an update, you get what you paid for, could do with window sorting out ,it doesn't shut properly so very noisey, maybe a black out blind n wider curtains to keep the glare of the street light out room 4 ,
