Charming little duplex in Le Pré Saint Gervais

I renovated this charming little duplex in December 2020. It's located in a modest, unusual U-shaped building dating from 1930, and is mainly used by families and young artists. This duplex is my primary residence, which I rent out when I'm away, as I'm a freelance artist and travel a lot! The neighborhood is quiet, very friendly, and diverse, with everything you could need nearby, including pedestrian streets and parks (La Villette, Buttes Chaumont, Romainville, etc.). I want my guests to treat it as if it were their own home, respecting the care I've put into it. On the first floor you'll find a 60x200cm bench seat, a small table on wheels that can also be used as a chair/stool, two folding chairs, a fold-down dining table in the fully equipped kitchenette, and a shower room with even a hand shower for those who like that sort of thing :) The bathroom sink is a bit small, but you get used to it. The shower is modern and comfortable. On the first floor there's a mezzanine bed, made up of a good old handmade cotton futon on Japanese tatami mats; the mattress measures 130x190cm on a 130x200cm bed frame. Under the bed is a desk and a comfortable work chair. There isn't much storage space as room is limited, so travelers must keep most of their belongings in their suitcases.
