Forest Villa at Sunrise Resort

An exceptional stay thanks to the most wonderful and caring team! We had a wonderful stay at Forest Villa Sunrise and cannot recommend this place highly enough. What truly makes this hotel special is the extraordinary kindness, attentiveness and genuine hospitality of the entire team. Even well before our arrival, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. They kindly offered to collect our luggage from the train station so that we could spend the day exploring the beautiful ancient town of Furong without having to worry about our bags. They then came back to pick us up at the station once we had finished our visit. This thoughtful gesture made everything so much easier for us! Throughout our stay, we had a dedicated butler whose service was absolutely outstanding. Whenever we had a question or needed help with anything, he took care of it immediately and replied literally within seconds. The team also helped us organise our day at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and assisted us with transportation and logistics. We felt genuinely looked after from beginning to end. We would also like to give special mention to the wonderful cook, who was incredibly kind and caring. On our first day, we ordered several meals and asked whether they could be kept for us to reheat the following day. However, out of concern for food hygiene and safety, the team preferred to prepare fresh meals for us rather than take any risks with the food that had been stored. And the most amazing part? They prepared the meals again for us completely free of charge! We thought this was such a generous and thoughtful gesture. It perfectly reflects the level of care and attention they give to their guests. Unfortunately, we also realised during our stay that we suffer from vertigo, which meant that some of the activities in the area were difficult or simply not possible for us. We therefore had to change our plans and shorten our stay by one night.

Il mio soggiorno al Forest Villa at Sunrise Resort a Xinglong è stato semplicemente magico, un luogo speciale dove la bellezza si unisce a una sensazione autentica di calore e accoglienza. Cercavo un’esperienza sensoriale immersa nella natura… e qui ho trovato esattamente ciò di cui avevo bisogno. Dalla mia stanza con vista montagna ho avuto il privilegio incredibile di ammirare le spettacolari Avatar Mountains…un panorama surreale, quasi irreale, che mi ha lasciata senza parole ogni singolo giorno. Sembrava di vivere dentro un sogno. La colazione era deliziosa, curata nei dettagli e perfetta per iniziare la giornata con energia e meraviglia. Ma ciò che ha reso tutto davvero speciale è stata l’accoglienza: lo staff è di una gentilezza rara, sempre sorridente, disponibile e attento a ogni esigenza. Un dettaglio che non dimenticherò mai: il mio treno da Pechino arrivava alle 5:40 del mattino alla stazione di Zhangjiajie, e loro erano già lì, puntuali e pronti ad accogliermi e portarmi in hotel. Un’organizzazione impeccabile che mi ha fatta sentire coccolata fin dal primo istante. Consiglio questo posto a chiunque voglia vivere un’esperienza indimenticabile, immersa nella bellezza più pura e in un’atmosfera davvero magnifica. Un piccolo angolo di paradiso che porterò sempre nel cuore.

Our family came here from Australia for tourism. This location is in the center of the scenic area, surrounded by a small village in the mountains. It's so beautiful that you can't imagine the interior design and decoration being so outstanding. The owner is very enthusiastic and introduced us to every detail. The most convenient thing is that they will provide transportation to take you to the scenic area. I have never had such a perfect experience before. I will definitely try another room type next time!

This is the second time I’ve booked this house, and it’s the perfect space for our three families to get together! It gives us both plenty of privacy and shared common areas. Surprisingly, the kitchen came with shot glasses, wine glasses, coffee mugs, and teacups—something you don’t often see in China.

The breakfast could be improved. I don’t mean it needs more food or to taste better. What I mean is that when people visit Zhangjiajie, they probably expect a local food experience. It would be great if guests could pre-order just two or three dishes they like. This way, there’s no waste, and both guests and chefs are happy.
