Zhangjiajie YOLO Resort--Within Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Loved its service

Staying inside the national park gave us unbeatable trail access, but the team here made the entire stay extraordinary. They took complete care of our arrival transport to YOLO and departure to the airport. Navigating a vast national park with only basic Mandarin can easily get overwhelming, but the staff were constantly on hand via messaging to help us route our days and make sure we never had to stress about transit. The hospitality from the entire team went so far beyond standard hotel service. LuJt was an absolute standout, attentive, incredibly responsive whenever we needed guidance, and genuinely looking out for us at every turn. The owner made us feel instantly welcomed and took care of transit logistics seamlessly. The cook was equally awesome, warm, lovely, and her food was absolutely divine. Coming back from exhausting hikes to her soulful, authentic meals and the tea (which is grown there) made us feel like family. We will definitely recommend YOLO to our friends and family, in fact we already have! Thank you so much for making this trip extra special for my sons and I.

The location is fantastic for being able to get buses inside the national park. The hosts were very friendly and helped us to plan out our walking routes each day!

It would be good to have a refillable water point.

The location is amazing

It was super old and dirty. The wall had holes on it and the bathroom was a mess and neglected cleaning for a long time. The pillow had stains and in general the staff try to overprice everything. Even not letting you a bottle of water knowing you can’t buy it near, so you need to bring everything on your own or pay them for it. They have a fridge with drinks but they turn it off during the night.
