Built in 2008, the apartment is set in a luxurious development with breathtaking views of Nice with a swimming pool. It consists of one double bedroom and a king size sofa bed in the lounge. It is only a few mins drive from the beach or alternatively a 30 min walk or a short bus journey. The setting of the apartment is in a nice quiet area. The property had great views, but being so high up was peaceful, but required a steep hill to the gate. We relied on buses to get downtown and they stop at 8:30 at night, after that Ubers were not bad in price. If you want peace and exercise, it is great! If you have problems walking and want easy access to stores and cafes, reconsider. Gary and Alexandra were quite responsive, but no one could figure out the nespresso:) the gate to the pool was tricky and should be fixed but otherwise the facilities were comfortable and well maintained.

me and my 2 friends stayed here for a week at the end of august. the apartment was fab ! so well equipped with the essentials as well as dvds , books , games etc. and had all the facilities we required with a washer , dishwasher , microwave , oven etc. air con was a notable perk too :). the views were amazing and we felt so safe with the security being so high. communication with alexandra and gary was excellent and we had no issues at all. lovely and relaxing area and the swimming pool was never crowded. couldn’t recommend this apartment enough. thank you !! xx

It was a beautiful location with some challenges in getting to and from the apartment and into town. Getting to the apartment was very hilly. Ok for the young at heart but for the 60+ is a bit hard walking up the hill. We had to take a taxi into and back from town. We walked down into Nice one day. Just not able to walk back. The view from the apartment was spectacular. Had a challenge mostly with the key getting into the apartment. Had to play around with it until we got in The owner responded quickly when trying to notify him. For this it was appreciated.

Very secure building with great views of the hills above Nice. Small upkeep details (e.g., door handles) will need attention over time. Air conditioning effectiveness was not a problem for us, in mild temperatures, but hard to say if it would be cool enough in hot weather. Gary was very communicative and helpful. Don't let the narrow/winding road up scare you; you'll become familiar with how to drive it.

We booked this apartment for 2 months in late winter. The apartment complex was situated above Nice with fantastic views all around, toward the sea and our apartment toward the mountains(with incredible sunsets reflecting off the rocky peaks and bluffs - incredible!) It was a peaceful location. We didn't have a car, but an easy 15 minute walk downhill through an olive grove to the city below was a great was to begin the day. It was another 15-20 minutes to "old town" ; we'd usually walk the promenade along the sea - stunning. Most mornings we'd stop at Armand's at Passy and Gambetta for an espresso, to check out a new pastry and to people watch. If you don't feel like walking, the transportation system is superb, abundant and economical. There is a bus service outside the complex which will take you directly to the train station in a few minutes as well as connect to numerous buses to take you anywhere you want to go. We looked forward to the walk uphill at the end of the day - just be mindful of park closing time and if you decide to take the bus in the evening, know your bus schedule. The apartment is comfortable and has everything you would need including an excellent WiFi connection. The complex and building is very secure requiring passcodes for entry. Gary has plenty of tourist info and suggestions as well as bus/train schedules. The pool was not open - but then it was winter after all. We didn't meet Gary in person, but he was thorough and quick with all arrival information beforehand and then checked with us when we arrived to ensure there were no issues or questions. We felt he was always there if we needed him. He even checked halfway through our stay to ensure all was well. Overall, the accommodation was great value and we had an excellent stay. If you want a quiet and relaxing rental away from busy Nice at night, this is a wonderful location and we'd certainly recommend staying here.

Stayed in this condo for 3 days during our recent trip to France and Italy earlier this month. We really enjoyed it! The unit is located on the second floor of a multi-building complex on the hills outside of Nice and is very modern and clean. Our 2 daughters slept on the hide-a-bed, which they found very comfortable. Had a problem getting the air conditioning started when we arrived, and the owner, Gary, was very responsive and called me right away with instructions on how to resolve the issue, which worked. The apartment is well-maintained. It's in a safe area, and very secure thanks to the several levels of security which are in-place (front gate and building codes, etc.). The pool was very clean and had a great view of the Nice waterfront and airport. We used public transportation when in the area, which we found very convenient. Buses ran on-time according to a fixed schedule. The unit is a 20 minute walk to the nearest grocery store, bakery, butcher, which were all very good. The walk between the unit and these amenities is through a park. It's a steep climb on the return but if reasonably in shape you should be fine. A recommended place to stay in Nice.

The apartment is fantastic and caters for your every need. The bed is one of the most comfortable one I have slept in whilst away, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The town is within easy reach by going through the nearby park. All in all a great apartment which we are booking again for next year.

I went in August 2010 with my 3 children. We really liked our stay and the apartment was as on the pictures. Very comfortable and modern. I recommend the owner to add some larger pan because when we have to prepare pasta, the one in the apartment are not enough big as well the plate for a salad. The person who welcomed us was friendly and available if needed. I recommend this apartment and we have a wonderful view from the pool.

This apartment makes you feel like you are away from it all even though you can get into central Nice in 10 or 15 minutes by car. It is exactly as pictured, although the pictures don't show the "bonus" balcony off the bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing any type of meal, although with the availability of so many wonderful restaurants, we did little cooking. The pool is lovely but we found it too cold to swim while we were there. Be sure to bring your own pool/beach towels if you plan to swim, as there are none available in the apartment. The furniture is super comfortable, and there is good lighting for reading. The owners couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. The directions from the airport were excellent, and the trip took only 20 minutes. One thing I would recommend is to stop at the supermarket on the way to the apartment for basic food and supplies, as this is a self-catering apartment and contains few basics. There is a large Casino market with a parking garage at Blvd. Gambetta and Rue Bottero, and a Petit Casino a few blocks further where parking is almost impossible. There is also a small market much closer to the apartment, again with limited parking. The local bakery has excellent bread and pastries. We enjoyed wonderful meals at two restaurants at the Port of Nice. One is La Zucca Magica, a vegetarian restaurant with a fixed menu that does incredibly creative things with eggs, cheese, fruits, and vegetables. You get four courses at lunch with a complimentary glass of wine for 17 euro, and will not go away hungry. The other is La Lunel, which has excellent fish dishes and reasonable prices. And be sure to get a pizza from Pizza Leo, it's delicious. The museums in Nice are great, we have now been to all of them but the Beaux Arts. Do not miss the Matisse, Chagall, and Contemporary Art Museum at Place Garibaldi. And there is a wonderful Picasso Museum in Antibes, about 15 miles to the west, and the Leger Museum in Biot, on the way to Antibes and a few miles inland. Antibes itself is a great desyination, with an excellent street maket every day and good, sandy beaches. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to be close to town but with a quiet place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Although it has a sofa bed, it would be a tight squeeze for more than two people, but was extremely comfortable for us.

This is a terrific apartment altogether, situated a bit out of town but very easy to get to via a number of bus routes that pass close by and leave you at the main railway station. Fares in and out of the city centre are very reasonable. This is a second-story apartment (but not that high up and there are good lifts) is in a private development with several secure access gates, ensuring safety and privacy. It caters for four people with no pinch with two sleeping rooms one of which is a very comfortable and special settee that becomes a bed. We found the place quiet and had undisturbed sleep. The apartment is well fitted up with accessories and has a nice balcony that gives some great views. The complex possesses a pool, too, for keeping cool. The owner thoughtfully provides a barbecue with all accessories, which we used one evening to cook a slap-up feed. If bringing food into the apartment, it's probably a good idea to get it in town. The four of us (lads on a trip away) found the owner very easy to deal with and most helpful. I can't say anything negative about him or the apartment (though watch the light coming on in the passageway!). We had a great time in the five days we were in Nice, due in the main to the great apartment. All in all, a great value hire and highly recommended. I will definitely return there again.

We stayed at this apartment for ten days (July 09) and have one complaint "we should have stayed longer". The apartment was all the owner said it was. Modern,bright and well equipped.The complex is as described, very clean and a good size pool (which was not too busy). A bus service just outside the complex runs every hour or so so getting into Nice is easy, you can also walk down to Nice through a nice park beside the complex (bring a picnic its lovely).Coming back from NIce can be a little harder,the bus stops at 8 O Clock and the park shuts around he same time, but with the money we saved not hiring a car more than coverd taxi rides. I would (sorry, WILL) go again.

First of all the Apartment was beautiful and modern with an excellent kitchen/dining area all of which was finished to a very high level. The views from the balcony looking over the valley were also impressive. The service provided upon arrival to the property was excellent, plus the presence of guidebooks and maps in the apartment was an added bonus. The french riveria is a great destination to visit with plenty of things to see and do. The central train station in Nice provided the perfect means to take day trips to Cannes, Monaco and St. tropez. One of the best sides of Nice is the night life, with so many bars and restaurants you will be spoilt for choice (happy hours are a must in most bars)! In summary Nice was perfect for a wide range of activities whether it be sunbathing on the sea front, making day trips or sampling the wonderful nightlife. I would totally Recommend this apartment for pure value alone.

I stayed in this apartment at the end of August 2008 and am about to book it again for 2009. We had a fantastic time. The apartment was spotless, modern and had all mod-cons. We spent most of the week sitting on the balcony or at the pool relaxing. Directions to the apartment were very specific and easy to follow. The bus stop into the centre of Nice is just around the corner and the buses run like clockwork. All in all I can highly recommend renting out this apartment and I do not have a single bad thing to say about it. There is plenty to see and do in Nice and further afield and I cannot wait to return to it again.

We stayed in this apt in August 2008. It is in an idyllic setting in the quiet hills of Nice with wonderful views of the surrounding area. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and fully equipped . Added bonuses are a good sized swimming pool and park for children. It is a thoroughly excellent base from which to explore the magnificent Cote D'azur. The owners are very easy to deal with and accommodating .And I would have no hesitation in recommending it!! Thanks again for all your help!

Casa situata sulle colline di Nizza, un po' lontano dal centro ma con la macchina non è un problema. Purtroppo è la casa di vacanza del proprietario che, suppongo, d'inverno e primavera la fitti ai turisti. Ovviamente, il proprietario vi lascia tutta la sua roba ed infatti è strapiena di tutto il possibile, quindi, essendo la casa piccolina, diventa ancora più piccola per chi la prende in fitto. Armadi, stipi, scaffali sono tutti pieni di cose del prorpietario ed ho dovuto laasciare le valigie piene ed in mezzo alla casa, aperte, con evidente disagio. L'annuncio su VRBO è molto ridotto, solo 5 fotografie e nessuna foto del bagno., non è corretto nei confronti di chi vuole fittare la casa. Fantastica la piscina: specie in primavera quando non abbiamo dovuto condividerla con nessuno perchè non c'erano molte persone nel parco.

Nous avions réservé pour 18 nuits, un couple + un enfant. Pour les points à améliorer: Récupération de l'appartement à 16h, femme de ménage sur place. La famille précédente(5 personnes!) partie à 14h30. Le ménage n'a pas pu être fait complètement. Canapé lit, sale; traces de nourriture, chips écrasées à l'ouverture du lit, chaussette sale moisie sous le tapis....Matelas(chambre et canapé) tâchés. Placards encombrés et sales. Nous avons relavé toute la vaisselle(casseroles et poêles toutes huileuses), les placards et les vitres... Évacuation baignoire bouchée. La moitié d'un placard(penderie) pour tout rangement. Portes de placards abîmées et qui ferment avec difficulté. Appartement malheureusement pas assez entretenu. Voiture obligatoire car éloigné de tout commerce. Pour les points positifs: Les échanges mail avec le propriétaire: rapidité/amabilité. La disponibilité et la gentillesse de la personne en local (Dorine). Les équipements: cuisine aménagée/BBQ/ustensiles à disposition/télé/lecteur DVD(les propriétaires font confiance et mettent à disposition les jeux, etc)... 2 balcons. La piscine. La place pour se garer, en extérieur, mais pas attitrée. A 15mns de la prom' en voiture. La résidence est calme et le voisinage sympathique. Pour en revenir à la piscine, elle ne paraît pas entretenue. Aucun respect du règlement intérieur(boisson/nourriture/cigarette). Utilisation de produits chimiques importante, l'eau en est d'autant plus "agressive", 2 d'entre nous ont eu des réactions cutanées (rougeurs/plaques). Et aux dires de certains résidents à l'année, l'eau n'est pas changée ne serait ce qu'une fois par an. A titre tout à fait personnel, nous avons été très déçus par cette location, nous ne renouvellerons pas l'expérience. Le temps a été radieux tout au long du séjour, beau et chaud.
