Cocon d'Azur Nice - Studio à 300m des Plages

The water in the pipes is clean and drinkable. The water boiler works fast, the place is pretty equipped with everything needed for a short stay. They've added two additional pillows by my request, it was a pleasure. The communication was polite and all the details for entering the location were sent before our arrival. The sofa is way better than we expected, we had no issue sleeping on it. The bathroom is tidy and everything works great, the only thing is that the heat knob on the shower stucks a bit and at first I wasn't able to cool the water down, because I wasn't sure if the knob is stuck or it just hit the end. Also be sure that the fridge door is closed, because if the fridge moves a bit inside its section, the door starts hitting the corner of the shelf.

The street is a bit noisy if the windows are open, and the people walking outside can see 100% of you if the curtains are open. But in a closed state of the window, the noise is completely absent. It also took me some time to figure that to lock the window, you need to pull the door handle to the top.

The property was in a super central location. The bed was super comfortable. I really enjoyed having the balcony too. The apartment was really clean and the bathroom was modern too. Also the host was really easily contactable and kind.

Not so much a dislike but the apartment is very small which we expected and it did get very warm. The doors and windows would benefit with a safety latch so they don’t swing too wide and so you feel a little bit more safe if you open them through the night like we did to let some fresh air in.

Studio correspondant totalement aux photos, très proche de la plage, très bonne localisation. Studio propre, bien aménagé. Propriétaire sympathique, disponible. Tout était parfait !

The sea and trams are close. There is everything You may need in the apartment, including a heater (bathroom was quite chilly). Bathroom is rennovated, The owner is friendly and there was no problem with check in even though our plane was delayed several hours.

Sound insulation does not exist - when looking for a place in Nice I've seen this complaint many times in reviews. I've chosen this particular accomodation because of the good reviews. But I was dissapointed. The window is old, so You hear all the cars passing by. Even worse, through the door You hear everything happening on the corridor - like people going out at 6:30 AM. Also, one night I've been woken up by a sound of a washing machine... For some people this may not be a problem, but I really dislike sleeping with ear plugs. The room is really tiny - when You open the sofa it takes around half of the space.
