The Hidden Cabana is a hidden gem. Not a fancy accommodation but a wonderful cute little place. The host, Madura, and his lovely family, make you feel always at home. The breakfasts are great and generous Sri Lankan food. The cabin is small but nicely located in a walking distance from the Sigiriya Rock. The little pool is a great bonus for hot days. The surrounding of the Cabin are practically in the jungle, with colorful birds etc. Madura also has his own nascent travel agency: Ayuli Tours (named for his baby Ayuli), and he arranged for us everything we asked for, including a not-to-miss Jeep safari to the Minneriya Elephant reservation (we saw about 200 elephants!), a night tour to see the intriguing Loris, and several long-distance taxi drives- all in comfortable AC taxis with good and nice drivers.

Rustig gelegen, prachtige tuin, veel privacy, ontbijt op het terras van het huisje, safari in de tuin. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar.
Niets, alles was top geregeld.
