What I loved about the property definitely was the location in East Harlem. I loved the historic brownstones which I’m already a brownstone lever anyway that was the location of my last apartment in West Harlem. I had a short stay and I loved it. It was very clean. The staff was fantastic over and beyond LUIS helped me tremendously with an issue that I had with staying another night and he assisted me with that with the Booking.com online website, which there was some discrepancies on their end so he helped me through the (customer Service) to make sure that when I booked another night it went through smooth. So I really appreciate him and other things at questions about he was there to answer and also messaging was easy in quick when it came to asking a few questions. So that was one of the biggest highlights and the other was the location was OK for me. I am used to getting to Transit pretty quickly being from the west side of Harlem, but this was OK. It wasn’t that bad and lastly, it was peaceful and quiet. I enjoyed my day and I would definitely book again.!!
The property was clean. The brownstone inside was immaculate fantastic Lee kept up the reason why I say that is because these beautiful buildings are historic and they are all the way from the 1920s or even earlier than that 1800s actually I would say and I appreciate the staff in the superintendent/owner keeping up with the building because it was really in good shape being that these ground stones are very old in age so the inside I loved and I loved how they separated the rooms into different small studios, which was ideal for all of us customers that are interested in staying and had the numbers on each door so we know which small studio we are supposed to go to. Also, I appreciated these sink and small kitchen at area that was separate that was in the hallway in a separate part, I also appreciated how the shower was separate from the toilet so if someone has to use the bathroom, there isn’t someone that’s in the shower and also in the same room as the toilet. The toilet in the shower was separate in the shower was fantastically clean and it was huge and I like that and I appreciated that as well.

The price was great and the location seemed really good. It was a 9 minute walk from the subway, overall a pretty quiet area. This was an upgrade over most hostels I have stayed at.
I knew booking that it would be a shared bathroom and other common spaces. They were kept clean, just an inconvenience to keep in mind. It was also pretty far from downtown. I did have to prompt them for check-in/out instructions, would love more automation around that.

The rooms are very clean and fragrant, with hygiene kit also for guests. The kitchen is well equipped and clean, the bathrooms too.

Nice location in Harlem near subway stops and businesses; relatively quiet street; historic townhouse
Barebones guestroom with only a fridge and small desk; shared bathroom that had no mirror (?!) or shampoo/conditioner; no check-in instructions until phone call had to be made; overall sketchy vibes in the apartment building
