The Central Park North

Terrific location. Very easy to let yourself in. The room was nicely equipped with.cablebtv, fridge, micro coffee maker and dishes. The bathroom was great, with good shower. The street is quiet at night and a main subway station is less than a block away.

The bed really needs a new mattress. It is very worn down on the side that most folks would sit on. (Room 34) There was only one coffee packet for the coffee maker. I stayed five days.

Good location to subway access. Good for what you pay! Showers and bathrooms were always available, cleaned to a high standard and were very modern

Bed could’ve been comfier, area a little unsafe at night. Have to get the subway everywhere. No elevator for 20kg bags is hard

Everything was nice and clean, I really enjoyed my time there and the people was nice. The bed was very comfortable and firm to sleep on.

The stairs was a little bit too much for me, but overall everything was good.

The location is very convenient — close to the subway and Central Park, which made getting around the city easy. The room was suitable for three people and worked well for the length of our stay. The shared bathroom was always very clean, which we really appreciated. The self check-in process was smooth and hassle-free.

There are a few areas that could be improved in terms of overall cleanliness and upkeep. Towels were not changed during our stay, even though the trash was collected on one of the days, which led us to expect some housekeeping. The bed linen had a few stains — nothing major, but it did affect the overall impression of hygiene. The neighborhood can feel a bit intense at times, especially in the evening, but it’s well-connected and functional for exploring the city.
